SynthVerse is built on respect: for creators, for listeners and for the law. Every agreement in this center is written to be readable by humans first and enforceable in law second. Guiding principles

  • Creator ownership first. You retain 100% of your copyright, moral rights and master rights in everything you upload to SynthVerse. Our agreements grant only the narrow licenses needed to operate the platform.
  • POPIA by design. South Africa\'s Protection of Personal Information Act shapes every processing activity. DSR requests filed in the Account Privacy section are logged, auditable and resolved within statutory timelines.
  • Clear AI attribution. Our AI Ownership Policy separates human creative direction from model-assisted generation, requires training-data provenance where commercially available, and never transfers authorship from the human creator.
  • Provenance, not promises. Documentation Vault™ produces immutable certificates for every release so disputes over ownership, chain-of-custody and licensing have tamper-evident evidence.
  • Transparent enforcement. Content ratings, takedown procedures, dispute resolution and repeat-infringer rules are public, versioned and applied consistently regardless of plan tier.

How do I submit a POPIA data-subject request?

Sign in to your SynthVerse account, open Account > Privacy > Data Subject Requests and submit the request form. You will receive an immediate confirmation email with a ticket number. All requests are logged in an auditable register and resolved within the statutory timelines (Access and Correction: 30 calendar days; Objection and Erasure: 30 calendar days).

How do I send a DMCA takedown notice?

Send a written notice to our designated copyright agent at copyright@synthverse.co.za with the elements listed in the Copyright & DMCA policy. Notices are processed within 48 business hours and counter-notice periods follow standard DMCA procedure.

Who owns the music when I use SynthVerse AI tools?

You do. Any work you create using SynthVerse Studio or SynthVerse Forge tools, directed by your prompts, parameters and curation, is fully owned by you as the human creative director. Where can I find older versions of these documents?

All documents are versioned by date. The last six versions of each document are archived. To request a historical copy, email legal@synthverse.co.za with the document name and approximate date.
